Dark and true-black iPhone wallpapers for OLED
True black, #000000, with one touch of light. On an OLED screen those black pixels are simply off.

On an LCD, black is a backlight shining through a closed shutter, so it glows grey. On an OLED screen every pixel makes its own light, and a pixel asked to show #000000 switches off. That is why these wallpapers are built on pure black rather than very dark grey: the glow, ring or horizon line seems to float with nothing around it, and the edges of the screen disappear into the frame.
Every iPhone since the X uses OLED except the XR, the 11 and the SE models. For a phone that shows true black properly, here are the cheapest OLED iPhones in France right now.
